We collaborated with Are You Mad on 4^th June to complete a mass litter pick of River Roding in Greater London. With the river flowing into the River Thames and the sea, we had a great day collecting rubbish and making a difference to the plastic and waste pollution in our oceans.

With the volunteer group Roding Rubbish, Are You Mad’s Wastemen and Nautica Competition’s own determined volunteers, we collected 80 bin bags of rubbish across a 5km distance.

The day began with a health and safety briefing before we took on the mass clean up. At the end of the litter pick, Are You Mad took all the litter collected, sorted and processed it and created custom branded carabiners and floating boat keyrings.

As a brand who draws from the essence of water & the currents of the world, Nautica are proud to have been a small part of this cause, helping to remove litter from our oceans and rivers.
